Andrea Dunlop has been selling real estate in Los Angeles for over seventeen years. She began her career at Prudential California Real Estate in Hancock Park, and is now with Sotheby’s International Realty in Los Feliz, for the last 11 years, as a consistent top producer, earning gold and platinum sales awards annually.

Andrea specializes in historical and architecturally significant homes and commercial spaces: Craftsman to Mid-Century to contemporary and everything in between. Her clients range from first-time buyers to seasoned investors. Almost all of her business is by referral from past clients, friends and family. The majority of Andrea’s clients are creative personalities - artists, architects, writers, actors, musicians and designers.

To sell historic properties, one must have first-hand knowledge of the travails of owning older homes. Andrea and her husband Max have restored two turn of the century homes in historic West Adams, including the 1906 Dutch Colonial Revival style house where they currently reside. She is able to use her extensive knowledge of the local Historic Preservation Overlay Zones and tax incentives for restoration, such as the Mills Act, to aid her clients in selecting and maintaining their historic and architectural homes. Andrea also has an elementary school aged daughter, Stella, and knows the ins and outs of the local public schools, including being a founding parent of a local charter school, City Language Immersion Charter (CLIC) in West Adams - http://www.citycharterschools.org/CLIC/.

Andrea was drawn to West Adams for its rich history and its beautiful architecture, which reminds her of her native North Carolina. She enjoyed serving on her community’s Neighborhood Council Board (UNNC) for 8 years, and was a member of its Economic Development and Tree Committees. Andrea cares deeply for many causes including education, community beautification, and her true passion, animal welfare.

Andrea sells real estate throughout Los Angeles, in areas such as Leimert Park, Windsor Hills, View Park, Highland Park, Santa Monica, Mar Vista, Venice, Marina del Rey, Del Rey, Westchester, Koreatown, Brentwood, Jefferson Park, Hollywood Hills, Eagle Rock, Pasadena, Altadena, Montecito Heights, Culver City, Los Feliz, Silver Lake, Mid-Wilshire, Hancock Park, Carthay Square, Miracle Mile, Downtown LA, Windsor Square, South LA, Mid-City, and of course West Adams.
